Batteries - One of the key
elements in electric vehicles. For small EV's the most commonly used
are rechargeable Lead-Acid batteries. Other battery technologies are
available but are often more expensive and are used where lightness
is at a premium. Lead-Acid batteries are widely available, commonly
as 12V units and in a range of AmpH capacities (energy storage
