Roller Chains - Probably the most frequent power transmission method used on the vehicles on the site. Roller chains are widely available and routinely used in industry for mechanical power transmission. They come in a range of pitch lengths and the UK and US (an others) use different specs. Most of the Unite manufactured drive motors are fitted with US spec roller chain sprockets and this might dictate which chains you use. Otherwise 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" (or their metric equivalents) pitch chains are most likely to be of use in smaller vehicle or robot designs.
